Organic search (Search Console)
Clicks, impressions, CTR and average position from Google Search Console, kept apart from ad numbers.
- Open Data sources and click Continue with Google on the Google Search Console card.
- Sign in with a Google account that has access to the site in Search Console, and allow read-only access.
- Open the client, go to the Ad accounts tab and tick the Search Console site.
The Organic search card shows clicks, impressions, CTR (clicks ÷ impressions) and average position (1 is the top of Google). Pick a chart by day and a table of the top search terms, pages, countries or devices with Edit layout.
- Search Console numbers arrive 2 to 3 days late, so the last days of a period are empty until Google sends them. Empty days show as gaps, not zeros.
- Search Console leaves out rare search terms to protect privacy. The search term table only covers the terms it sends, so it adds up to less than the totals.
- Lumina keeps the 200 search terms and pages with the most clicks each day.
- Search numbers are never added to ad totals. The platform filter applies: pick only ad platforms and the card is hidden.
