Ask your data

Ask your data for agencies: ask plain questions about one client's ad numbers and get an answer, with tables, from AI.

Ask your data is a chat about one client's numbers. Your team types a question in plain words and gets a short answer, sometimes with a small table, built from that client's synced data.

How to ask

  1. Open the client in Client Hub and go to the Ask your data tab.
  2. Type a question, for example Which campaign had the lowest CPL last month? Or click one of the examples.
  3. Click Ask, or press Enter. Shift and Enter starts a new line.
  4. The answer is written as it comes in, sometimes with a small table. Click Stop to end it early.
  • Answers come from this client's synced data only. The AI is told never to guess or use outside numbers, and to say the exact dates it used.
  • You can ask in English or Arabic. The answer comes in the language of the question.
  • Conversions are as each platform reports them. Check key numbers in the full report before you share them.
  • Spend is the real cost, without the client's markup.
  • Your recent chats are listed next to the chat. Only you can see your chats. Click New chat to start again.
  • Owners, admins and members can ask. Client viewers cannot.
  • A workspace can ask 60 questions an hour and 300 in 24 hours.

If the tab says AI is not set up yet on this server, the server has no AI key yet, so questions cannot be answered.

What you can ask about

  • Totals for any date range, by day, week, month, platform or ad account.
  • Campaigns, ad sets and ads, sorted by any metric, to find the best or worst.
  • Audience splits by age, gender, country or placement, where the platform reports them.
  • Website numbers from the client's GA4 property, such as sessions, key events and revenue.
  • App numbers from AppsFlyer or Adjust.
  • Budget pacing for this month, when the client has a monthly budget.
  • Chart notes the team added, to help explain a change.

Ask your data does not read Search Console or email numbers.

A typical example

An account manager has a call with a client that runs Meta and TikTok. Before the call, they open the client's Ask your data tab and ask Compare Meta and TikTok CTR over the last 30 days. The answer gives the dates it used and the CTR of each platform, sometimes with a small table. They follow up with Which age group converts best? in the same chat. Then they check the key numbers in the full report before the call.

Tips for better answers

  • Name the dates, like last month or 1 to 30 September. Without dates, the AI is told to use the last 30 days up to yesterday and say so.
  • Ask follow-up questions in the same chat. The recent messages are sent along, so you can say things like now only for Meta.
  • For why questions, the AI is told to compare the period with the one before, check the chart notes, and say when the data cannot tell the reason.
  • If a question takes too long, ask a narrower one or use a shorter date range.
  • When accounts use different currencies and no rate exists, each currency is reported on its own.

Plans and credits

Ask your data comes with Growth, Agency and Scale, or with the AI for Starter add-on. Each answered question uses 1 AI credit from the workspace's monthly credits. A question that gets no answer does not use a credit. A question can be up to 2,000 characters.
