Arabic reports
Arabic reports for agencies: show a client's ad reports in Arabic, right to left, on links, the portal, PDFs, downloads and emails.
Each report can be in English or Arabic. The Lumina app itself stays in English; only what the report reader sees changes.
- For all of a client's reports: open the client, go to the Details tab, set Report language to Arabic (العربية) and click Save details.
- For one saved report: click Save report (or Save changes), set Report language to Arabic (العربية) and click Save. Client default uses the client's language.
You can also pick the language when you create a report template from scratch, and with the Report language switch in Edit layout.
What changes in an Arabic report
- A saved report's own language wins over the client's default.
- The report reads right to left in an Arabic font, with Arabic labels, dates and AI summary. Charts are mirrored.
- Numbers keep Western digits (0 to 9). Money shows the currency after the number, for example د.ك for KWD.
- Shared links, the client portal, PDFs, PowerPoint and Excel downloads and scheduled emails all follow the report's language.
- In the app, the report's header says shown in Arabic.
- Metric names, built-in template names and country names show in Arabic.
- Campaign, ad set and ad names stay as they are in the ad platform. The AI summary keeps them in their original spelling.
- Text you type yourself, like notes, shows as you wrote it.
- PowerPoint slides use right-to-left text and mirrored layouts, and chart axes run right to left. Excel sheets read right to left.
- Scheduled emails get an Arabic subject and read right to left.
Who it is for
Agencies whose team works in English but whose clients prefer to read reports in Arabic, for example brands in Kuwait and the rest of the Gulf. You set the language once per client or per report.
A typical example
- A client asks for Arabic reports. Open the client, go to Details, set Report language to Arabic (العربية) and click Save details.
- Every saved report for this client now shows in Arabic, unless a report has its own language.
- Send a share link or set up a scheduled email as usual. Both arrive in Arabic.
- If your team wants an English copy, save a second report for the client with Report language set to English.
Tips
- For a template used by many clients, keep the language on Client default. Each client's report then follows that client's language.
- Before you send a report, check that its header says shown in Arabic.
- The AI summary of an Arabic report is written in Modern Standard Arabic. Its numbers are not changed.
- Downloaded file names keep Arabic client names as they are.
- Changing the language does not change any numbers, filters or layout. Only the words, dates and direction change.
To save an Arabic PDF, open the report and click PDF, as for any report.
