How syncing works
Lumina pulls numbers about every 30 minutes and keeps 90 days of history.
Ad platforms do not push numbers, so Lumina pulls them. Each ad account that belongs to a client is refreshed about every 30 minutes.
- The first sync fetches the last 10 days. Older days are then filled in, step by step, until 90 days of history are stored.
- Each sync refreshes the last 3 days, because today is still moving. About once a day the last 10 days are refetched, since platforms can change recent numbers.
- The top bar shows when your workspace last synced. Each client page shows the sync state of each ad account.
- Ready date ranges in reports end yesterday, the last full day. Custom dates can include today.
To refresh one client right away, open the client and click Sync now under Ad accounts. If a sync is already running, wait a few minutes and try again.
When a sync fails, Lumina tries again on its own, waiting a little longer each time. The error shows on the client page.
