Connect Apple Ads, AppsFlyer or Adjust
These three have no sign-in page for apps, so you add a key from the platform instead.
Apple Ads, AppsFlyer and Adjust do not let apps like Lumina use a sign-in page. On Data sources, click Connect on their card and follow the steps shown. Lumina stores every key encrypted and only uses it to read reports.
- Apple Ads: an account admin invites a user with an API role in Apple Ads. In Lumina, click Make a key for Apple Ads and copy the public key. Signed in as the API user, paste it in Apple Ads under Account Settings > API. Copy the client ID, team ID and key ID Apple shows into Lumina and click Connect.
- AppsFlyer: an admin copies an API token V2 from Security Center > Manage your AppsFlyer API tokens and pastes it in Lumina.
- Adjust: copy the API token from Account settings > My profile and paste it in Lumina.
- Lumina makes the Apple key pair itself. The private key never leaves Lumina, and the public key is safe to share.
- AppsFlyer and Adjust numbers show in their own App installs section of a report. They are not added to ad totals, because the ad platforms already count that spend and those installs.
- AppsFlyer counts installs by install date and allows only a few report calls a day, so its apps sync about every 2 hours.
- Apple Ads daily numbers go back about 90 days.
